STANDING ROCK By Natalie Hand 1851 Ft. Laramie Treaty Territory, Cannon Ball, North Dakota -- Hundreds of tribal members and allies marched onto active and ongoing construction sites of the Dakota Access Pipeline today. Water protectors brought offerings of prayer, ceremony, drums, and tribal nation flags to construction sites to expose illegal company actions.

World Conference on Indigenous Peoples

Will grassroots people (who are not associated with non-profits) be attending the UN World Conference on Indigenous Peoples in New York? Will they have a voice? Will there be authentic journalists there? Bolivia President Evo Morales will be there and Bolivia is engaged in the planning. But already grassroots activists and authentic journalists are writing, wondering about the travel costs and whether they are invited.
